Nestled in the heart of Muskoka, Muskoka Brewery handcrafts premium beers as unique and refreshing as the region they're from.

Founders Gary McMullen and Kirk Evans kicked the doors of Muskoka Brewery open in June of 1996. What started as a very small and dedicated team has quickly grown to a passionate band of craft beer lovers over 50 strong.

In short, we have a passion for great craft beer and we hope you get a chance to try it and enjoy it.

Freshness

We are committed to being a freshness leader in Ontario. Contrary to popular belief, beer is a fragile product, like any perishable food. At Muskoka Brewery, we label each can with "Enjoy Before" dates. No codes, no mysteries - we want you to taste fresh beer every time.

Purity

We believe you should know exactly what your beer is made of. Alcohol is the only consumable product that doesn't legally require a full list of ingredients. What makes Muskoka Brewery different? The ingredients on our labels are what we actually use to make our beer!

Here's what you won't find in our beer. There are no additives, no preservatives and no adjuncts (cheaper ingredients or those that shortcut the brewing process). And we never pasteurize. We brew beer the way it's supposed to be made. This is our passion and our promise.

Independence

We value our independence; it's what makes us unique. Muskoka Brewery is a Canadian-owned company. Our brewery and offices are in Bracebridge, Ontario.
